SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - The Savannah Police Department (SPD) is investigating a fatal shooting on Augusta Avenue around midnight Wednesday night.
The department wrote in a post on X at 12:36 a.m. on Thursday that police were on the scene at the 1400 block of Augusta Ave in response to a report of a shooting.
One adult female victim was deceased.
SPD urges anyone with information related to this shooting to call CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020.
