SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — If you have a sweet tooth and a fondness for chocolate St. Francis of the Islands Episcopal Church was the place to visit today to fulfill your chocolate desires.

The Chocolate fest is held annually at the church before Valentine’s Day.
Well, we were looking for a fundraiser so that we could continue our missions," said Joyce Tinsley, chairman of the Chocolate Festival.
Tinsley's idea came from her past outreach.
“I moved here from Missouri, and we did it in a church there. And so I said, ‘what do you think?’ And they thought, 'well, that's different.' So that's how it got started.”
Anything from truffles and fudge to pastries, cakes, cheesecakes and decorating kits for cookies were all for sale. The festival helps support the church’s programs.
