SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - The Tag 3 Foundation held its second annual toy drive on Saturday, Dec. 7, and the community showed up in full force to give to those without.
This was the second annual event for the Foundation, which is centered on providing educational resources for children and supporting the senior population.
Alexander Grant, founder and chief executive officer of Tag 3, spoke to News 3 about his involvement with the event. Grant lost his daughter two years ago and chose to "turn pain into purpose" by forming Tag 3.
One of the things is that she was a giver," Grant said of his late daughter. "And as her being a giver, we wanted to center it around giving and education."
