SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) -- The Bonaventure Historical Society will participate in the Georgia History Festival’s Super Museum Sunday February 9, 2025. Super Museum Sunday is part of the annual Georgia History Festival, the signature K-12 educational program of the Georgia Historical Society, reaching hundreds of thousands of students statewide.
Bonaventure Cemetery will join over 100 historic sites, house museums, art museums, and other points of interest throughout Georgia that will open their doors to the public, FREE of charge. They will offer a variety of in-person and virtual experiences that encourage Georgians of all ages to explore and experience the history, arts, and cultural opportunities of our great state.

Bonaventure Cemetery is free to explore from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The visitor center will be open Super Museum Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with maps, postcards, and informational pamphlets about the history of this beautiful Victorian garden cemetery. At 2:00 p.m. in the Colonial Monument Gardens area, there will be a free tour from costumed guides.
