Two arrested in Glynn County for trying to steal, sell electronics

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) - The Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) has arrested two people suspected of attempting to steal and sell electronic devices to two citizens.

Nashayah Dalmacy, the first suspect, reportedly attempted to sell an Apple watch to a woman through Facebook marketplace. The victim claimed that after communicating on Facebook, the two agreed to meet in a store parking lot where the victim would give Dalmacy $80 for the watch. The victim gave Dalmacy the cash, but Dalmacy said she needed more money. The victim returned to her car to get the money, but upon doing so, Dalmacy re-entered her vehicle and fled with both the watch and cash. Her boyfriend, Fernando Antonio, reportedly drove her vehicle.

GCPD officers learned on December 4, that a relative of the above victim had made arrangements with Dalmacy and Antonio to purchase cellular phones.

When Dalmacy and Antonio arrived at the store parking lot on New Jesup Road, officers approached their Toyota Tacoma, questioned Dalmacy and Antonio, then found two cellular phones in the vehicle later learned to have been stolen from a nearby Dollar General Store.

Dalmacy was taken into custody and charged with Theft By Taking. Antonio was taken into custody and charged with Theft By Taking Party to a Crime.
