Wawa to have grand openings in Brunswick, Jesup

JESUP, Ga. (WSAV) — Wawa will be holding a double header opening in Jesup and Brunswick on Thursday, officials said.

At 8 a.m., the Jesup Wawa's doors will open to customers on 356 West Orange St. Officials said that they will give out free t-shirts for the first 250 customers and will be giving free any size hot coffee from Dec. 5 until Dec. 15.

There will also be a “Hoagies for Heroes” hoagie-building competition between first responders benefitting local charities. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 11 a.m.

The Brunswick store will open at 8 a.m. and will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m.

Wawa officials said that over the next five to eight years, they plan to open over 26 stores in Southern and Coastal Georgia.
