What's Trending: Eagles, bunnies and pets in dresses

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - Between Bald Eagles, police bunnies and dogs in dresses, this week in "What's Trending" seemed to be critter-core.

WSAV's Digital Producer Dylan James joins Andrew Davis for another weekly breakdown on what's made the rounds and gotten the clicks on WSAV.com.

First up, a pair of bald eagles on Hilton Head Island (HHI) gave birth to their first eggs of the season. the eagles cam nest from the HHI Land Trust captured the moment.

Next up, its the bunny cop. The Pooler Police Department (PPD) made a rapid rabbit rescue on Wednesday, saving an abandoned bunny from a nearby motel.

He will now be known as "Sergeant Hop to It," and as PPD put it, he will be there "to provide a soft touch to those in need."

Finally, National Dress Up Your Pet Day was on Monday and we asked our staff and viewers to send in their best pics of their furry friends.
