SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — We’re giving a round of applause on this Young Talent Tuesday to authors who wrote a book to teach young readers about love, child loss and dreaming.
WSAV’s Tina Tyus-Shaw welcomes authors Karina Mims and her and her 5-year-old daughter Brooklyn Mims, authors of the book "Brooklyn Goes to Jreamland", a book based on the daughter Karina loss in 2014, the sister Brooklyn never met.
Not wanting to say the wrong thing about the loss, Karina says it was a dream that Brooklyn had that helped her to talk about it and write a book to help others.
Those interested in purchasing "Brooklyn Goes to Jreamland" can be purchased on Amazon by clicking here.
Stay tuned each Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. as we shine a light on more students on the air or at wsav.com/youngtalenttuesday.
